The book introduces the basic principles of adsorption from chemical engineering point of view and continues to discuss the underlying principles, such as adsorption equilibrium, equilibrium isotherms and adsorption kinetics, as well as modeling and simulation tools. The final part of the book focuses on Cyclic Adsorption Processes (PSA, TSA, ESA, PP, EBA, SMB) and Cyclic Adsorption/Reaction Processes (SMBR, PermSMBR, SERP) and is supported by many examples ranging from the chemical industry, to pharmaceutical and food sectors.
