The book is aimed at users, students and non-specialists, quantitative approaches including statistical, cartographic and social representations of the fields of education and more generally the humanities and social sciences. It presents the main methods of processing quantitative data and the statistical tools that a researcher, apprentice-researcher or student is required to meet during the different stages of a study. From the beginning, the book deals with the different stages of treatment in order to allow the reader to relate to his own needs and to orient himself towards a particular part of the work. At the head of each part, the necessary requisites are specified.
