Cooperative Control of Multi-agent Systems: with Applications presents current theory developments with a particular emphasis on applications. These applications mainly consider either Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) or Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs). Some of the problems consider (or the proposed algorithms can easily be readily extended to consider) combinations of both types of these vehicles. Topic areas include target assignment, target tracking, consensus, stochastic game theory-based framework, event-triggered control, topology design and identification, coordination under uncertainty, and coverage control. This book aims at linking the basic theoretical concepts related to multi-agent cooperation and high-level missions and offers more realistic and useful scenarios, but without losing the mathematical background needed to provide performance guarantees under general working conditions.
