Understanding Symmetrical Components for Power System Modeling

This book provides a fundamental understanding toward symmetrical component theory, which still remains unclear in the conceptual base of many professionals. This book also covers two approaches for studying symmetrical components. One is the physical approach, without going into many mathematical matrix algebra equations. The other is a mathematical approach, using matrix theory. Topics in this book include symmetrical components for modeling of transformers, transmission lines, generators, and motors.
