About the Author FRED A. STITT is an architect, and the founder of the San Francisco Institute of Architecture. Since 1970, he has written more than 50 books and manuals on architectural subjects. Among them are Designing Buildings That Work, Systems Graphics, Systems Drafting, The McGraw-Hill Working Drawing Planning and Management Manual, and Design Office Management Handbook. He lectures widely and has contributed articles to well-known publications in the field, including Architectural Record, Progressive Architecture, Computer Graphics World, and Design Book Review.
